How to custom map a controller in djay using MIDI learn

djay Pro offers powerful and flexible MIDI mapping tools that let you use virtually any MIDI controller. You can customize every button, knob, and fader to match your workflow, create multiple configurations, and share your mappings.

Follow this step-by-step guide to build your own MIDI mappings in djay Pro, switch between different setups, fine-tune how your hardware controls behave, and share your mappings with others.

Introduction

djay Pro includes native support for a wide range of MIDI controllers out of the box. Check our list of natively supported MIDI controllers to see if your device is plug-and-play.

If your controller is not on the list, you can still use it with djay’s MIDI Learn feature, which lets you manually map any MIDI control. MIDI Learn can also be used to customize or override the default mappings for controllers that are natively supported.

note

A PRO subscription is required to use MIDI mapping.
