Automix settings

Automix lets djay take over the decks and mix tracks for you. These settings help you customize how tracks transition and how long they play. You can adjust transitions, control tempo behavior, and fine-tune start and end points for smooth, automated sets.

Mix

• Transition: Choose how djay transitions between songs. Options include Automatic, Fade, Filter, EQ, Echo, Dissolve, Neural Mix™, and more.
• Duration: Set how long transitions last. Choose Automatic, or set a Manual duration by specifying a number of bars (measures) or seconds.
• Tempo adjust: Control how Automix handles BPM differences between tracks:
  • Off: No beatmatching.
  • Sync: Keeps a consistent BPM throughout the mix.
  • Sync + Tempo blend: Gradually adjusts the outgoing track's tempo to match the incoming one.
  • Automatic: Helps create smoother transitions by automatically aligning the BPM of incoming tracks. If there’s a noticeable tempo difference, djay adjusts the BPM to match the currently playing song.

Song range

• Start point: Choose Automatic or set a Manual start point (X seconds from the beginning of the track).
• End point: Choose Automatic or set a Manual end point (X seconds before the end of the track).
• Use start and end point of song if available: When enabled, Automix will honor any existing track start and end markers you've set.
• Maximum song play duration: Set how long each track plays before djay loads and mixes the next one.
