Adding music to your collection

My Collection lets you manage, edit, and organize your music directly within djay Pro. You can create playlists that combine tracks from different sources—including your local library and supported streaming services—all in one place.

How to add music to My Collection

You can add new tracks to My Collection in two ways:

• Drag-and-drop tracks using Split library mode—learn more in the Split library mode section.
• Drag and drop files or folders directly from a Finder window.

Adding tracks to djay Pro only links them to your collection. The original files won’t be duplicated or moved on your device.

How to add music to your collection from Finder

1. Click My Collection in the sidebar.
2. Open a Finder window and navigate to the file or folder you want to add.
3. Drag and drop the files into the library browser.
4. Drop them into the desired location within My Collection.

tip

You can batch-add entire folders or playlists from the Music, Video, or My Files tabs by dragging and dropping them into My Collection.
