Recording your own samples
Sampler lets you capture your own sounds to use as custom samples, whether from the decks or a connected microphone.
This is a great way to add signature sounds, personalize your sets, and make your mixes stand out.

How to create samples
- Open the Sampler and click the Edit button (pencil icon).
- Click the three dots on the pad you want to replace to open the Choose sample window.
- Scroll to the bottom and find the Record new sample section.
- Choose a recording source:
- Deck 1
- Microphone
- Deck 2
- Click and hold the button for the source you want to record. Release when you want to stop recording.
- Your recording will automatically be saved to the My Samples folder. You can rename each sample as you like.
- You can now add recorded samples to the sampler pads.
- Use the +/- buttons at the bottom of the My Samples list to add and remove samples from your storage.
note
To record from your mic, make sure a microphone input device is set up.
