Managing your djay account, subscription, and cross-platform access

Why create a djay account

Creating a djay account helps you:

• Connect and use your PRO subscription across iOS, macOS, Windows, and Android
• Manage your devices more easily
• Stay up to date with the latest features

You only need a djay account if you want to use your PRO subscription across multiple platforms.

If you're using djay on just one platform, creating an account is optional.

note

A djay account does not retrieve previous purchases, allow subscription cancellation, or sync your music library between devices.

How to create a djay account

To create or sign in to your djay account:

1. Open the Settings menu in the djay app.
2. Tap My djay Account.
3. Follow the prompts to create or log in to your account.

Important: Signing in with a Microsoft, Apple, or Google account does not automatically restore purchases made through those stores.

To restore a previous purchase, go to the platform where you originally bought djay and use Restore Purchases.

Using your PRO subscription across multiple platforms

With djay v5.0 and later, your PRO subscription can be used on up to five devices across:

• iOS
• macOS
• Android
• Windows

To activate your subscription on multiple platforms:

1. Purchase a PRO subscription on your preferred device (Apple ID, Google Play, or Microsoft account).
2. Open the djay app and go to Settings.
3. Tap My djay Account.
4. Sign in or create an account to link your subscription.
5. Log in to the same djay account on your other devices to unlock PRO features.

Using your PRO subscription on Vision Pro

If your PRO subscription was purchased through your Apple ID, you can use it across Apple devices — including Vision Pro, iPhone, and Mac.

Subscriptions purchased on Windows or Android do not transfer across platforms.

How to delete your djay account

macOS

1. Open the djay Pro app.
2. From the top menu, select djay Pro > Settings > Advanced.
3. Under My djay Account, select Delete Account.

Windows

1. Open the djay Pro app and tap the menu icon (three lines).
2. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete Account.
3. Tap Restore Purchases at the bottom of the upsell panel if needed.

You can recreate your account anytime by logging in again with the same email or login method.

Using PRO features with older (legacy) versions

Users with djay versions released before v5.0 should restore purchases directly through the original app store, not through a djay account.

Important info

Legacy versions (pre-v5.0) do not restore purchases via djay accounts.

Use the Restore Purchases option in the app store where you originally made the purchase.
