In the unlikely event that you experience a crash while using djay, you may send us a crash report so that we can further investigate the issue.
There are two ways to do this: either directly from your iOS device or by using your Mac or Windows computer. Please use one of the following methods below to obtain the Crash Report.
Directly from your iOS device
- Go to your device Settings.
- Scroll down and tap on "Privacy".
- Tap on "Analytics & Improvements".
- Tap on "Analytics Data".
- Find the crash report here by looking for a file (or files) named: "djay-<date>-<timestamp>.ips"
- Once found, tap on the crash report, then tap on the "share" icon in the upper right corner to either copy, save, or send the file directly to us. Please be sure to reference your open support ticket number if necessary.
Syncing your iOS device to your Mac
- Open Finder (found in the Dock).
- Click on the 'Go' menu at the top of your screen, and select 'Go to Folder'.
- Type (or copy/paste): ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/.
- Open the folder with the same 'name' as your device (Note: your device name appears in iTunes/Music on the left side, under 'Devices').
- Look for files starting with djay or containing djay in their title. Copy any that you find to your Desktop.
- Attach the file(s) to your reply, or send them to us via the "Submit a Request" form found here.
Syncing your iOS device to your Windows PC
