While DJing with djay for iOS at your friend's party or in any live setting, you want to be sure that all other audio output from your iPhone or iPad is silenced, such as keyboard typing sounds or push notification alerts.
To silence these system sounds follow the steps below:
1) Disable the Ring/Silent switch that is above the volume controls on the side of your device. This will stop all system sounds, such as keyboard typing and notification pings of any type.
2) Enable Do Not Disturb (DnD) in the Settings menu or in Control Center. If you do not wish to disable your ringer switch, then you can use DnD to stop all alerts, including notifications, from sounding off.
