Below, you'll find the steps to reset all djay Pro settings back to the original default settings. If you have an older version of djay, you'll find the corresponding reset command at the bottom of this article.
- Open the Terminal app on your Mac (located in the Applications > Utilities folder).
- Copy and paste the following command into the Terminal window and press "Enter":
djay Pro AI (v3.0 & v4.0) and djay Pro (v5.0)
defaults delete com.algoriddim.djay-iphone-free |
And that's it! Next time you launch djay Pro, you'll find all settings have been restored to default. Please note that the following settings in djay Pro won’t be affected, as these are stored separately:
- Song metadata like BPM, beat grid, cue points
- History
- Recordings
- Samples and sample presets
- Video image and text effects
- MIDI mappings
