First off all, please make sure that you are using the latest djay Pro for Windows version, you can check if you are up to date via this link.

To reduce your MIDI latency:

  1. Install the Windows 10 Creator’s Update by following these instructions.
  2. Run Windows Update in the Windows settings to get the latest improvements, including KB4020102.
  3. You should now be running Windows version 1703 (OS Build 15063.332) or later. You can check which Windows version you are using by entering "winver" in the Windows search bar and pressing enter.

To reduce your audio latency:

  • Enable "Exclusive Mode" in the djay Pro Audio Device Settings to make sure that all hardware resources are being used efficiently for the MIDI communication.
